Another bathtime picture, I love this one too! He looks just like his daddy.

This was taken right before we left for the Brumleys, see that tongue working... he cut his very first tooth (bottom) two days later...

The tree Christmas morning, it literally took the 7 of us four hours to open up everything... we're all so blessed!

Another cool gift to go with his current Animal Train (as if that one wasn't annoying enough, mom bought him another one)!!

Jackson helped his Nanny open up her gift!

This was the first gift Jackson opened (well sorta, he had some help). He got a really cool raised musical bandstand contraption. He can hit it and it plays lights and music. He loves it because he can sit his legs underneath it and be right up to it.

Jackson, 6 months, at the Brumleys for Christmas. Mom and Nanny were bathing him in the sink and he was having a GREAT time!! He was so excited to have everyone looking at him. He's smiling on command now, which means LOTS more pictures! We were in Beaumont from Christmas Eve until Sunday morning and had a great time.

Some pictures from Thanksgiving at my parents property in Athens, TX (East Texas).
The colors were changing, and it looked just beautiful. It actually feels like they have seasons up there, where as in Houston/Katy, we have 2 seasons, very sultry hot, and cool/coldish.

Enjoying a bubble bath in mommy's bath tub! (5 months, 3 weeks)

Jackson got to meet Santa 2 weeks ago, and as you can tell from the look on his face, he wasn't quite sure what to make of it. The lady at the clubhouse told us, that this time he doesn't care, next year he'll scream his head off, and then finally at age 2 1/2 he'll enjoy it. BTW, it was quite warm that afternoon, hence the shorts and short sleeve shirt.

Big boy bath seat!

We finally found a bath seat for Jackson at Babies R Us. Which is awesome for mom and dad since we don't have to use the baby tub in the sink anymore! Jackson is so chillax in this thing (as you can tell). He'll splash and play with his toys. We've taken pride in establishing a great routine for him in the evenings, starting with his bath, then a lotion rub down, into a sleepy time footed onezie, lastly a bottle, then it's lights out for JB.

I can't tell who he looks like in this picture...

Jackson's love of jumping!

Jackson has learned that he loves loves loves to jump! He'll jump just about anywhere you let him. But to give our laps (and arms) a break, we put him in this contraption, and it works wonders! He doesn't have a jumper at school, so when we get home in the evenings, this is where he loves to spend the first hour or so (which works great while I'm cooking dinner). This was taken at his Gmaw and Gpaw's place in East Texas over Thanksgiving.

Meeting Santa!

Jackson got to meet Santa for the first time this afternoon at the clubhouse in our subdivision (very convenient!). We also got a chance to contribute to Toys 4 Tots, by bringing a small unwrapped gift. It was nice to get Jackson out of the house, and get him some fresh air. He's been so sick the past few weeks, we've taken extra precaution not to take him out much; however, the weather was so warm, we couldn't resist. It was kinda funny to have his picture taken with no shoes on, shorts and a short sleeve shirt.

We were originally supposed to be visiting our friends, the McDougals this weekend, but we just didn't think it was a good idea to bring Jack out just as he was beginning to show signs of progress. Hopefully we'll catch them in early January! I can't wait to see pictures of how little Tanner enjoyed Schiltterbahn.

We're looking forward to heading to Beaumont on Christmas Eve morning to visit with Justin's parents. I'm curious just how much Jackson will enjoy seeing all the people--hopefully he doesn't get overstimulated!
